Terms of Service

By accessing or using MCUniverse ("the Service"), operated by TNOONE ("we," "us," "our") at mcuniverse.tnoone.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and server owners who submit listings. Use of the Service constitutes full acceptance of these terms, including any future amendments.

MCUniverse is a Minecraft server listing and discovery platform. We allow server owners to submit their servers for public listing, and allow players to browse, vote on, and connect to those servers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service — or any part of it — at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

To submit a server listing, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• One account per person. Duplicate or alternate accounts are subject to removal.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

By submitting a server to MCUniverse, you confirm that you are the server owner or have been explicitly authorized to submit it by the owner. You agree to the following listing standards:

• Only one listing per server IP. Duplicate submissions will be removed.
• Server information (name, description, IP, version) must be accurate and kept current.
• Your server must comply with the Listing Rules in full.
• By submitting, you authorize MCUniverse to periodically connect to your server to retrieve status data including player count, version, and MOTD, and to display this data publicly.
• Server banners and images must not flash rapidly, imitate MCUniverse's interface, or contain prohibited content.

Listings for servers that remain offline for an extended period may be automatically suspended per the offline suspension policy applicable to your tier.

MCUniverse operates a vote-based ranking system. Votes are tied to registered user accounts and are subject to per-day limits based on your tier. You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, scripts, bots, or proxies to cast votes.
• Create multiple accounts for the purpose of generating additional votes.
• Coordinate vote exchanges or vote rings with other server owners.
• Exploit technical vulnerabilities in the voting system in any way.

MCUniverse offers optional paid placement tiers (Iron, Diamond, Netherite) that provide enhanced features and visibility. All tier purchases are one-time flat-rate payments and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

• Tier benefits are provided as described at the time of purchase and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
• We are not responsible for server downtime, listing visibility fluctuations, or vote counts that may affect your expected return on a tier purchase.
• Tier status may be revoked without refund if your account or listing is found to be in violation of these Terms.
• Payments are processed by third-party processors (including Stripe and/or PayPal). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

The Iron tier may also be earned without payment by accumulating 50 Network Core Points through legitimate platform activity.

You retain ownership of content you submit (descriptions, banners, images). By submitting content to MCUniverse, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

We do not pre-screen user content but reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion, without notice, that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

You agree not to use the Service to:

1. Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
2. Upload content that is pornographic, sexually explicit, or inappropriate for minors.
3. Promote, facilitate, or link to servers that operate illegally or violate Mojang's EULA or Usage Guidelines.
4. Impersonate any person, entity, or the MCUniverse / TNOONE brand.
5. Collect or harvest user data from the Service without authorization.
6. Transmit spam, malicious code, or any material that could damage or interfere with the Service.
7. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
8. Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to take enforcement action against any account or listing we determine, at our sole discretion, to be in violation of these Terms. Actions may include content removal, listing suspension, account suspension, or permanent ban — and may be applied without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Enforcement decisions are not required to disclose detailed reasoning, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users where practical.

An appeal form will be made available on this site. Decisions on appeals are final.

We aim to keep MCUniverse available and functional but make no guarantees of uptime, continuity, or data retention. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, hosting failures, or circumstances beyond our control may result in downtime or data loss.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TNOONE and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of revenue, damage to reputation, or inability to access the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

MCUniverse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios. All server listings are submitted by independent third parties; we are not responsible for the content, conduct, or availability of any listed server.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
